If You Have to Choose 1 of KPOP 5th Generation, Go For "BOYNEXTDOOR"

Now, it's time for the new generation of KPOP. This year is the year that generation 5 begin. Many groups from many companies are debuted and all of them are so strong in term of songs, performances, and variety skill. The KPOP groups nowadays are not only good-looking but also incredibly talented. Some of them can do everything like singing, dancing, and rapping. It seems like this generation is full of all-rounders. All the big company in the Korean KPOP industry have their own new and interesting group.
For me, I focus on boy group more than girl group and it's hard to be the fan of just one group.They have their own music’s style and their own charisma. So, if it is hard for you to pick just only one group from the newest generations of KPOP to stand, you're in the right place! In this blog, I will suggest my favorite KPOP boy group from generation 5.
One day, while I was scrolling through Twitter as usual, I saw some random people sharing a post about a really good-looking boy who looked like he came out of a comic book. I found out that a new boy group was going to debut next month, but I didn't know much about them. Surprisingly, the boy I saw in the post wasn't my favorite, but he was the first member of the group that I saw. Then about one week before they were going to debut, I think. I found a video on TikTok. This video was about another member of BOYNEXTDOOR, and he is definitely my type.🥰 I will talk more details about him and other members in the last past of this blog. Please stay tuned.
Let's continue to talk about the facts of the group. BOYNEXTDOOR made their debut on May 30th this year. This group is under KOZ Entertainment which is the subsidiary of HYBE Label; the company that take care of many famous groups like BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHYPEN, NEWJEANS, and more. KOZ Entertainment is managed by ZICO; a former member of BlockB and now he is a solo artist. So, when you listen to BOYNEXTDOOR's songs, you might feel a vibe similar to ZICO's style.
Their debut album named "Who," and it contained 3 tracks; "But I Like You," "One and Only," and "Serenade". Their concept is about boys who live next door and are trying to impress a girl. I find it cute, like they're experiencing their first love. What's cool is that all three of these songs had music videos. It's not very common in KPOP to have music videos for all the songs, so I thought that was pretty awesome.

What amazed me even more is how beautiful their albums look. They pay a lot of attention to the design of the packaging, the things inside, and the quality of the pictures and photocards. It's really something you'd want to collect, and I believe even people who aren't their fans would be buy it and put in on display.
The artwork on their albums is really eye-catching. For this album, they have 3 versions. Two of them are the normal photo book version, and the other one is the tiny version with fewer stuffs in it. This tiny version is designed to help reduce the use of plastic. They make the design look like a townhouse or even a cereal box, and it's super cute to me. I really want to have such a pretty album on my shelf because I've never had one like this before. The previous group I liked had simple album designs with just black and white covers. I won't say I didn't like it, but it's not attracting. 😂

Then, three months later, on September 4th, they came back with their first comeback album called "WHY," which continues the story from their previous album. This time, my boys are heartbroken because of a girl, and I really adore them because in their music video, they act like they are very sad.
In this album, they have 6 songs. The first three songs are from their previous album, and the next three are new ones called "But Sometimes," "ABCDLOVE," and "Crying". One thing that the previous album had but this one doesn't is that they only made a music video for the title track "But Sometimes".

Once again, I wasn't let down by their album design. It's really beautiful. This time, it doesn't have the creative cover like before, but the album cover is still colorful and has lots of details.
Their album comes in four versions. Two of them are the regular photo book version, and the other two are special. One looks like an envelope (the letter version), and the other is tiny and designed like a matchbox.
As you can see, the letter version is an individual version and has specific members on each cover. This means you can choose to buy the one with your favorite member or collect them all!

Now, let's get to know each member briefly. Like I mentioned earlier, BOYNEXTDOOR has 6 members in the group. Three of them were born in 2003. Two were born in 2004. And the youngest member was born in 2006.
